Zoom Whiteboard is an infinite canvas for collaboration inside the Zoom platform. The board isn't created anew for every meeting: it is saved in your account and opens before a meeting, during it and after it, when the work continues.
In a meeting the board is turned on with one tap from the toolbar, and every participant is on it right away — no links, no invitations, no waiting for access. In a meeting room with a touchscreen you walk up to the board and start drawing with your hands.
The canvas holds sticky notes and text, diagrams and flowcharts, freehand sketches, ready-made templates and kanban boards. Zoom AI helps you start: from a description of the task it produces the first ideas, groups sticky notes by topic and assembles a template for the specific job.
A meeting stops being a one-way presentation and becomes shared work
You can vote on any object on the board, and the vote has a deadline. The decision is made in the meeting instead of being pushed to the next one and the one after that.
Participants see the canvas through the presenter's eyes: they lead across the board and everyone follows their cursor. Nobody gets lost on an endless surface or asks where to look.
Each participant gets their own board for individual work, while the host sees all of them at once. Handy for workshops, reviews and study groups.
