Continuous chat in Zoom

Continuous chat gives you the ability to:

• Create a dedicated group chat for scheduled meetings.
• Send the meeting agenda to participants before the meeting itself starts.
• Report that you will be late or unable to join the call in the meeting chat, without entering the meeting itself.
• Use the meeting summary generated by Zoom AI Companion to capture important tasks and continue the discussion after the meeting.
• Continue the discussion after the meeting has ended or catch up on the details if you had to miss the call.

To turn on continuous chat:

• Sign in to the settings of the Zoom web portal;
• Go to the section "Schedule Meeting";
