BrightHire

The interviewer sees the questions and criteria during the conversation, and afterwards gets notes, key highlights and a ready scorecard. Candidates are compared on the same criteria, not from memory.

What it is

BrightHire is an interview platform that Zoom acquired in December 2025. It records and transcribes interviews in Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, guides the interviewer through a structured plan and writes the notes for them. The brand and the service are kept, and the product still works on any of the three platforms.

For the hiring team it is one picture per candidate: the recording, the transcript, the highlights, a short summary and a scorecard that goes into your applicant tracking system. For the hiring manager it is three minutes of key moments instead of an hour of recording.

First-round screening can be handed to an AI interviewer: it holds the first conversation on set questions, and live interviews are kept for those who pass. Signs of candidate substitution and deepfakes on video are flagged by the platform itself.

The interview under control
  • An interview plan with questions and criteria
  • Recording and transcript in Zoom, Meet and Teams
  • Notes, highlights and a summary from AI
  • The scorecard straight into the ATS
  • Signs of fraud and deepfakes

Hiring by one set of rules

When every interviewer asks their own questions and writes things down their own way, there is nothing to compare candidates on. BrightHire sets a shared plan and a shared memory.

One plan for everyone

Questions and evaluation criteria are in front of the interviewer during the conversation. Every candidate is asked the same things.

Notes write themselves

The AI keeps the notes, marks the key moments and builds a summary: motivation, compensation expectations, preferred way of working.

Decisions on facts

Scorecards are filled in from the interview and go into the ATS. The debrief relies on clips of the recording, not on "I had a feeling".

Capabilities

What you get from BrightHire

From the interview plan to hiring analytics

Structured hiring plans

An interview plan for the role: stages, questions, criteria. The interviewer sees it in the call window and keeps nothing in their head.

Recording and transcript

An interview in Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams is recorded and transcribed. The recording is tied to the candidate and the stage.

AI notes and key highlights

Interview notes, the topics covered and short clips with the main answers. The recruiter and the hiring manager watch minutes, not an hour.

Candidate summary

A short recap of the conversation: motivation, desired compensation, preferences. Plus alerts about important signals for the team.

Scorecards into the ATS

The interviewer's feedback lands in your applicant tracking system with one click. Nobody chases unfilled scorecards.

An AI interviewer for the first round

First-round screening on set questions is run by AI. Live interviews go to the candidates who move on.

Signs of fraud

The platform flags signs of candidate substitution and deepfakes on video. The team knows what to look at.

Interviewer training

Personal feedback and coaching based on the interviews held. The manager sees the quality of the process for each interviewer.

ATS integrations

Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS, SmartRecruiters, Ashby, Jobvite, Oracle Taleo, Bullhorn, Workable and others. Calendars: Google Calendar, Calendly, GoodTime and Prelude.

Security and access

SOC 2 Type 2 certification, GDPR and CCPA compliance, roles and access rights, a configurable retention period for recordings. Single sign-on through Okta, OneLogin, JumpCloud and Microsoft.

On any platform

BrightHire remains a cross-platform service: Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. There is no need to move the whole company to one platform.

Licensing and availability

A separate product with its own licence, paid. Runs as BrightHire's cloud service. Transcription languages are not listed on the BrightHire site; we clarify them for the customer's task.

Scenes

Where it works

Wherever people hire a lot and want to hire equally well

01

High-volume hiring

The AI interviewer holds the first conversations, live interviews go to those who pass. Recruiters spend their time choosing, not screening out.

02

Several interviewers per role

One plan for everyone, the same criteria, a shared recording. The final debrief runs on clips, not on retellings.

03

A hiring manager with no time

Three minutes of key moments and a summary instead of an hour of recording. The decision is made the same day.

04

Distributed teams

Interviews run in Zoom, Meet or Teams, whichever the candidate and the interviewer have. Recording and notes in one place.

05

Training new interviewers

Personal feedback on the interviews held and examples of strong moments from colleagues. A newcomer learns from their own recordings.

06

Compliance

Uniform questions, recordings with a configurable retention period and access roles. The hiring process can be shown to an auditor.
