Zoom Business or Enterprise: which plan a company should choose

Licences 1–250 versus 250 and up, participants 300 versus 1,000, cloud 10 GB versus unlimited, webinars bought separately versus included. Four questions for the choice and the price.

The point

In short

Business is the plan for a company that already needs single sign-on, managed domains and an admin dashboard. Enterprise is the same set plus scale: meetings up to 1,000 participants, webinars in every licence, unlimited cloud recording and a dedicated Zoom manager. The Enterprise threshold is 250 licences; Business starts from one.

The rule is simple. Fewer than 250 hosts, one or two people running webinars, recordings fit in 10 GB per licence? Business. Hundreds of hosts, webinars in several departments, a rule to record everything? Enterprise. Row by row below.

On the substance

What Business gives

Business is the first plan on which Zoom becomes a corporate system. Single sign-on through your directory, managed domains so that employees do not create personal accounts on work email, an admin dashboard with reports on meetings and call quality. Meetings up to 300 participants, 10 GB of cloud per licence, transcription of recordings and translated captions, Zoom AI with summaries.

The limits are just as clear. More than 300 participants and you need the Large Meeting extension. Webinars are bought separately for each host. The 10 GB per licence pools across the account but runs out under a "record everything" rule. Up to 250 licences in the account.

What matters

What Enterprise adds

Scale, not administration. Single sign-on and the dashboard are already on Business, and taking Enterprise for them means overpaying. Enterprise adds four things.

Up to 1,000 participants

in every meeting without extensions. An all-hands, training for all staff, a leadership address.

Webinars in every licence

for 500 attendees. Marketing, training, HR run webinars without buying separate licences. If ten people run webinars, this is the deciding point.

Unlimited cloud

The retention period is set by the administrator's policy, not by a lack of space.

A dedicated manager and priority support

For a company where Zoom has become infrastructure, a question is resolved faster than through the general queue.

In detail

Four questions for the choice

How many hosts?

Fewer than 250: Enterprise is closed by the threshold, the choice is made. More: keep counting.

What is the biggest meeting?

Up to 300 people: Business. Regularly 500 and more: Business needs the extension, Enterprise includes it.

How many people run webinars?

One or two: Business plus Webinars licences. Ten in different departments: Enterprise, where a webinar is in every licence.

Is there a recording rule?

Individual meetings are recorded: Business. Everything is recorded and kept for a long time: Enterprise without a storage counter.

A company with 120 hosts, two webinar presenters and ordinary stand-ups chooses Business. A company with 400 hosts, webinars in five departments and recordings kept by rule chooses Enterprise.

Money

What it costs

Business costs $18.33 per user per month billed annually, 24,188 ₽ per user per year excluding VAT at the Central Bank rate on 6 September 2026. The Enterprise price is published neither by Zoom nor by us: it depends on the number of licences, the composition and the term and is calculated per company. As a guide: an Enterprise licence costs more than Business, and the saving appears on webinars, cloud and extensions that Business would have to buy separately.

The calculation needs three numbers: how many hosts, how many people at the biggest meeting, how many people run webinars. The full price list and the buying procedure are on the buying page.

On the substance

How to move from Business to Enterprise

The account stays the same. Licences, settings, recordings and users move with it; the plan and the composition change. Through RightConf this is done under a contract in roubles: a request, a calculation from the three numbers, a contract and an invoice, the plan change on the account, and configuration of what has appeared: webinars for the new presenters, the recording policy. Then support in Russian.

Questions

Frequently asked questions
