Open the app. On the home screen tap the “Schedule” icon, enter the meeting information, then tap “Schedule” or “Done”.

Now let's take a look at some of the recently released scheduling features. Be sure to download the updated client to make sure you have them!

Personal Zoom client

Now you can see all your meetings in the Zoom desktop client, whether they are Zoom meetings or not. Zoom's real-time chat presence will change your status to "busy" even if you are in a meeting that is not on Zoom but is scheduled in your calendar. In addition, you can join the Zoom meetings you have been invited to right from the desktop client, without going into your calendar. The Zoom client can now become a universal platform for scheduling and managing meetings!

Waiting Room

Zoom's “Waiting Room” feature is ideal for people who run concurrent meetings with the same meeting ID. Although this is not exactly a scheduling feature, it helps you organize meetings more professionally. Waiting Room users can now customize their virtual waiting room with their logo, the meeting title and a personalized message. This is great for reinforcing your brand or your messaging for private practices, office hours and consultations. Finally, it will give your customers and clients peace of mind that they are in the right place while they wait.

Web extensions for scheduling features

We have made our Google Chrome extension even more convenient by letting users manage meeting settings every time they schedule a meeting. Now you can easily choose the right settings for your meetings, such as “Mute all on entry” and “Join before host”.

We are also glad to announce our Safari extension! Safari users can now access all the web extension features that have been available to our Chrome, Mozilla and Edge users. Additional features include one-click meeting scheduling and integration with Google Calendar.
