The Archiving API exposes communication events and content: meetings, webinars and events, phone, team chat, whiteboards and AI Companion output. Your storage system picks them up and files them the way your policy requires.
What gets exported differs by channel. For meetings, webinars and events — audio, video, chat, metadata. For phone — automatic call recording, SMS and MMS, voicemail. For whiteboards — an action and event log. For team chat — messages and files. For AI Companion — meeting summaries and next steps.
The key difference from ordinary cloud recording: the archive lives on your side, in your system, under your retention rules. This is what financial organizations and companies under industry supervision are usually required to have.
