A set of MSI, GPO and pList policies that restrict Zoom client features at the operating system level.
If ZDM manages the client from Zoom's side, GPO and MSI manage it from your own infrastructure — through the Windows group policies an administrator already knows and pList files on macOS.
The policy set is detailed: you can prohibit recording, restrict screen sharing, turn off virtual backgrounds, pin the sign-in server and dozens of other parameters.
In practice this is used where Zoom has to obey the general workstation management system rather than live by its own rules.
